Chefmate, one of the newest brands launched by Horeca Trade, has received an Arab Achievement Award for its contribution in the hospitality segment.
Held earlier this month at the Arab Investment Summit in Abu Dhabi, the awards recognise companies with projects and products that have shown outstanding performance and have made exemplary contributions to the region''''''''''''''''s development.
Chefmate is Horeca’s private brand, which will be further developed this year to introduce new products such as mushrooms, tuna, and tomato paste, in addition to the existing range of olives, olive oil, butter, whole peeled tomatoes, chopped tomatoes and a range of cheeses.
Soula Baroudi, Horeca Trade’s marketing manager, commented: “It’s a whole new line extension for Chefmate that will target a certain segment of restaurants, hotels and catering for back of house products with good quality and a convenient price.
"We are so proud to receive an award for Chefmate, as it shows that Horeca Trade is on the right track to fulfilling customers’ needs and is in line with market trend," she added.
The Chefmate line, which was launched in the UAE in January 2009, features products sourced from suppliers all over the world — all of whom are in compliance with the UAE’s food standards and regulations. |
